From Montreal, Quebec:
Take highway 15 South to the border. Take I-87 South to Exit 26. Left at the end of the ramp, Right at the stop sign - now on Route 9 South.
Go about 1 mile and take a right by the Wells House, towards Olmstedville. Travel 6 miles on this road, which becomes County Route 29 in Essex County. The Alpine Homestead sits up on a hill, driveway is on your right after you pass the house. Look for signage to guide you.
From Albany, NY:
Travel I-87 North to Exit 26, Pottersville/Minerva, at end of exit ramp turn left. At the stop sign turn right. Travel short distance to the Wells House which sits on the left. Bear left here towards Olmstedville. Travel 6 miles on this road, which becomes County Route 29 in Essex County. The Alpine Homestead sits up on a hill, driveway is on your right after you pass the house. Look for signage to guide you.
From Boston, MA:
Take Mass Turnpike to Albany, NY. Follow directions from Albany to The Alpine Homestead.
From Buffalo/Rochester, NY:
Take NYS Thruway to Albany, NY. Follow directions from Albany to The Alpine Homestead.
From Burlington, VT:
Route 7 South to Vergennes, Route 22A South to Addison, Right at the light onto County Route 17, Cross the bridge into New York (road turns into County Route 903 in NY)
Left (South) on Route 9N/22, Right (West) on Route 74 before Ticonderoga,
Follow for several miles until you reach I-87 just North of Schroon Lake
