A quick note to say you were an oasis in the desert! Your place and your approach to your guests is so warm, genuine, and welcoming, even to rain soaked cyclists. Thanks so much--you were a highlight of my trip, and may even get me to ski Gore Mountain this winter (much closer than the Rockies).

It's always a delight to find an expected treasure when traveling and your wonderful guest house is certainly one of those. We had a very enjoyable stay crowned by a delicious breakfast. Thank you for your excellent hospitality which will be a highlight in our tour.

We want to thank you for making our "weekend away" such a delight. From the lovely room we slept in, to the inviting comfort of the whole house with all the interesting furnishings, to the especially friendly dogs, to the suggestion of a wonderful restaurant for dinner, to the fantastic breakfasts, everything was supurb. The most memorable of the whole weekend would be our conversations with you, our remarkable hosts. We look forward to coming back another time.

When arranging our holiday in the USA, I really wanted to find a proper home where we could experience American hospitality. The Alpine Homestead certainly met all requirements and more! Barry and Peggy are wonderful hosts, offering delicious home made food and plenty of it. They were helpful with our choice of where to eat in the evening as well as other local information. Indeed, when we arrived back from a walk completely soaked, Barry met us at the door to take our wet things and dry them for us.

We were able to sit on the porch and in the sitting room feeling completely at home. Our rooms were very comfortable, beautifully furnished, gorgeous linen, ample towels, even fresh flowers.

Barry and Peggy have got it just right - if you are thinking of booking at The Alpine Homestead you won't be disappointed.

We decided to treat ourselves and this turned out to be a special treat. I'm so glad we came here! The ambiance alone was worth it...but the breakfasts were that special extra! There was a certain gourmet touch to them that put them in the elevated category of fine cusine!
