The Alpine Homestead is minutes from world class skiing at Gore and Whiteface Mountains. Accessibility to many, many trailheads for winter activities of snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, or snowmobiling is very easy. With 3,000 lakes and streams in the Adirondack Park unlimited opportunities for water sports are available year round. Come and enjoy this ideal location.
Upon arriving at The Alpine Homestead, you will be warmly received by innkeepers, Barry & Peggy Mix. From the warmth of the wood burning stove in the great room to the tranquility of the formal sitting room/library; opportunities abound for an truly unique experience at the Homestead.
The home replicates a bygone era of simplicity yet is elegant in it's decor with antique furnishings and polished original woodwork throughout.
